i'm sick of the top 100 being people have only played 10-15 games so i was thinking that total games should count somehow like Totalgames/100 - loses/100 (don't have this be times by the win % tho) i think this would make it possible for people with over 100 games to be rank in top 10 if u have any better ideas plz post them

I think having a game requirement like that would give an unfair advantage to members of Clan Dope.
Thoughts?

Perhaps not 100 games needed to qualify to be on the top ten list, but rather 20 or 30 games. I think that sounds fair, but if you have an better idea then I'd love to hear it

I like the requirement of 20 or 30 games better. I'm trying to think of an addition to the formula that would subtract 5 points from anyone who hasn't played at least X amount of games. I have a paper to finish writing first though! =)

that is actually probly a better idea having people that haven't played say 100 games lose x amount of points then give people without a life (vic) a higher score

this is my new idea since 100 games show's ur true skills i think the penalty should last until then and be higher amount of games the lower the penalty should be so (i'm not sure if you can do greater then and equal too but if u can) then games 10-20 u lose 2 points off your total score games 21-30 u lose 1.60 points off your total score games 31-40 u lose 1.20 points off your total score games 41-50 u lose 1.00 points off your total score games 51-60 u lose .80 points off your total score games 61-70 u lose .60 points off your total score games 71-80 u lose .40 points off your total score games 81-90 u lose .20 points off your total score games 91-100 u lose nothing

So I can't add anything into the score formula that does anything close to this. I was trying it out but I can't use any if-then statements, and I can only use basic mathematical symbols. Sorry guys.

with basic math commands its impossible to have people with low games lose points without people with higher games add points which is imba. so i go again to the idea of totalgames/150 * win% now this will give people of dope a boost but it will not be a amazing amount. if you have played 600 games and have a 75% win it would give u three points on your total score. now vic is the best score to show this with. vic would get about a 2.5 boost so his score of 5.24 would go to 7.74 which would make him in the 70's so it won't change the top 40 even but it will give people a chance to make it in the top 10 who have played a lot of games

I'm just going to add a small total games point modifier. Like every game you play adds .005 points or something, that way 600 games adds 3 points.
Any modifier favoring a large chunk of games (like 100 or more) will automatically fill up the top ten with only members of Clan Dope.

i think the added bonus of total games should b multiplied by your win % along with kills/deaths/assist that way the added bonus isn't as great as it currently is

Lol, I'm glad you admitted that! Right now the bonus is .005 points per game you play. Therefor, every 200 games adds 1 point to your score.

Ok, so after testing out this point system, it has become clear that this is straight up unfair. It rewards quantity over quality.
I quote: "it's unfair to casual DOPE gamers. If they kick uber ass in 10 games they should be recognized for it"
This point boost gives players who have played lots of games more points without actually earning it by increasing their skill. Having a point system based on number of games played misrepresents skill in players who have played large numbers of games.
Remember, the score is meant to represent skill levels, not how little of a life someone has.
